SEO made simple



What’s the latest in shoes? What movie is currently showing? What is the latest news abroad? How’s the weather going to be like the next few days?

Do these questions sound familiar? I am pretty sure that one time or another you have asked yourself one of these questions. And how do you usually get your answer? Simple. We search for it online.

How did we go about searching these things? What tools did we use? In our quest to find answers we used SEARCH ENGINES. There is more to search engines than meets the eye. Business people have found a way to make these search engines work for them.

How? Through SEO or Search Engine Optimization. SEO is a practice wherein a website is optimized by improving its internal and external aspects in order to increase the traffic received from search engines. If your site can’t be found by a search engine or your content is not available on their database you miss out on plenty of opportunities available to websites. People who want to buy the stuff that you offer won’t be able to find your website, hence you lose a possible sale.

Based on surveys conducted, search engine traffic can make a big difference in an organization’s success or failure. So, investing in SEO, whether financially or through your time, will make a huge impact. In the long run this venture will provide an exceptional return of investment.
